Rob Gross has been fishing the Mississippi River for a number of years.
He specializes in sharing his love for the Mississippi River Pools 8 & 9
and surrounding area, as well as his love for teaching basic to
advanced angling. An angler is never too young or too old!
Rob does most of his guide trips in the pool 9 area on the Mississippi
river. Pool 8 covers La Crescent, MN to Genoa, WI. Pool 9 covers
Genoa, WI. to Lock & Dam 9. He launches out of New Albin, Iowa or
Lansing, Iowa or Wildcat Park at Brownsville, MN.
Rob is Iowa & Minnesota Licensed, CPR certified, and a trained first
responder. He utilizes marine radio and cell phone for emergency
contact while on the river. Rob also teaches a local fishing school for
children in Spring Grove, MN. All fees are donated to local youth fishing.
