The Fishing Tree is a new program founded in Spring Grove, Minnesota that believes every child (of any age) should be able to enjoy the wonderful sport of fishing.
We believe everyone should get the chance to enjoy a day on the water. We also understand that some people are unable to enjoy this sport due to financial problems as well as disabilities. We know that some people have never learned how to fish.
The Fishing Tree helps children get the essentials needed for fishing through a small group instructional programs. Also, after the child completes the "Fishing Tree Program", he/she will receive a rod, reel and tackle supplies to start them fishing right.
The Fishing Tree can also assist local communities in establishing tackle lending libraries.
